It all started with one idea - the new sound of Toni Kitanovski Trio.
On a fine afternoon during the Indian summer of 2013, Toni gathered his right hand man, Aleksandar Sekulovski on Drums, his left hand man, Vasil Hadzimanov on Hammond Organ and his left and right leg man, recording engineer Alen Hadzi-Stefanov.
Together, they formed a formidable pack, ready to go in the studio and tackle the analogue equipment with a youthful vigor, relentless enthusiasm and a bottle of bourbon.
The location was generously provided by the youth cultural center - MKC in Skopje, the capital of the Republic of Macedonia. The old pocket-sized cinema, aptly named Millennium, was the perfect setting for the musical meeting of these old friends.
What followed were two days of pure magic and mysticism, resulting in shamanic sounds reminiscent of something very old, almost timeless, the music of the human kind.
